ABOUT
Bethany Pardoe is a traditional illustrator and creative writer with a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. From picture books to graphic novels, Pardoe writes and illustrates fantastical stories inspired by growing up as an odd duck. Imbued with elements of nature and personal folklore, her art and narratives are for the children and early adolescents who feel things deeply. When she’s not creating, she spends her time consuming black tea and fiction. Originally from Nelson, BC, she is currently situated on the the unceded traditional territories of the xÊ·mÉ™θkÊ·É™y̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and sÉ™lilwÉ™taɬ Nations (otherwise known as ‘Vancouver, BC’).
